Message	wrote and searched. The head is separated from the (short) block by the head gasket, correct? So everything above the head gasket would mean the head itself, valves (24) the springs, retainers, camshafts, like big gixx wrote. Anything else major? Why would someone want to use a thicker, metal head gasket?
